Days Of Palestine – Jenin
Palestinian political prisoner in Israeli detention Ali Yousef Sbeih completes today 19 years in Israeli detention facilities, said the Palestinian Prisoner Society.
Sbeih, who comes from the town of Kafr Ra'i in the occupied West Bank, was arrested by Israeli authorities on May 10, 2001, and was given a life sentence for his activism in the armed resistance against the Israeli occupation.
Like many Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, Zyoud has been denied family visitation several times by the Israeli occupation authorities as a punishment against him and his entire family.
The Israeli occupation authorities are still incarcerating more than 5,000 Palestinian and Arab prisoners for resisting its occupation of their homeland.
