Dozens of Palestinians suffocated from teargas inhalation during clashes that erupted with Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Ummar to the south of the southern West Bank occupied district of Hebron, said a local activist.

Mohammed Awwad, a media activist, told WAFA news agency Israeli forces stormed an area adjacent to the Israeli settlement of Karmi Tsur, build illegally on Palestinian land in northern Hebron, and fired tear gas canisters directly towards Palestinian resident’s homes, provoking clashes with residents.

Dozens were reportedly treated at the scene from tear gas suffocation.
