An Israeli court in Beersheba in the southern 1948 occupied Palestine on Tuesday sentenced two Palestinian young women to different prison terms.
The Israeli court sentenced Tasnim al-Asad, a university student, to five years in prison, and her cousin Rahma al-Asad to four years and a half. Both are residents of the Negev.
The detainees were arrested in December 2017 and accused of incitement and planning an attack against Jewish settlers.
Over 240,000 Palestinians are living in the Negev Desert, half of whom in villages and communities that have existed for hundreds of years, and the Israeli authorities are trying to displace them by all possible means.
