Extremist Israeli settler ran over three Palestinian school boys near an illegal Israeli settlement in the east of the West Bank city of Qalqilia, paramedics said on Monday morning.
Palestinian sources said that the three school children, aged between ten and 11, were wounded after a settler driving near the main entrance of boys’ school had hit them.
The three children were evacuated to Nablus Special Hospital for urgent treatment.
An Israeli military patrol showed up at the scene moments later. The Israeli driver has neither been arrested nor interrogated.
Such hit-and-run attacks carried out by extremist and illegal Israeli Jewish settlers repeatedly and they attackers go unpunished.
One of such attacks was carried out last year when an Israeli truck driver ran over a Palestinian minibus and killed six Palestinian workers.
This attack followed a previous one when an Israeli settler pushed a Palestinian family car to collide, causing the death of the six-member family.
