Israeli occupation forces shot, wounded 37 Palestinian protesters in occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip during seventh Friday of Rage.
Spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza Ashraf al-Qidra said that the 12 Palestinian protesters were shot and wounded by the Israeli occupation forces in different areas across Gaza Strip.
He said that eight Palestinian protesters were wounded in the east of the northern Gaza city of Jabalia, noting that one of the wounded in critical condition.
The others were wounded near the eastern borders of the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, he said that tens received field treatment due to inhalation problems caused by the heavy use of tear gas by the Israeli occupation forces.
In the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that its staff treated tens of wounded in the field in different areas.
A statement issued by the Red Crescent stated that the Israeli occupation forces shot live ammunition and steel-coated with rubber bullets at the Palestinian protesters and wounded 25 of them.
The statement said that tens of other protesters received field treatment due to the suffocation problems caused by the heavy use tear gas by the Israeli occupation forces.
Since 6 December, 2017, when the US President Donald Trump recognised Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Israeli occupation forces killed 26 Palestinian protesters, wounded about 5,600 and abducted 1,200 others, including more than 300 children.
