Israeli occupation forces murdered on Monday evening new Palestinian citizen in occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at the Palestinian protesters in Jayyouse Neighbourhood in the East of Qalqilya.
Palestinian paramedics rushed to the scene and evacuated six wounded, including Ahmed Salim, 28, in critical conditions.
The Palestinian ministry of health announced Salim’s death minutes after he was admitted to the hospital, noting that an Israeli sniper shot him in the head.
Salim’s death brings the number of the Palestinian protesters murdered by the Israeli occupation forces since Trump’s move on Jerusalem, December 6, to 19.
At the same time, thousands of other protesters were wounded due to the “lethal force” used against the by the Israeli occupation.
UN officially called for an “immediate investigation” into Israel’s use of “lethal force” in its crackdown on the Palestinian protests in occupied Palestinian territories.
