Israeli PM orders destruction of Arab homes in Israel

Days of Palestine -

Benjamin Netanyahu held to discussions in the last two weeks concerning what he said the enforcement of the law when it comes to illegal construction in the Arab sector.

Israeli Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan, Israeli Police Commissioner Roni Alsheikh and other Israeli officials attended the meetings with Netanyahu.

During the discussions, Netanyahu instructed the relevant officials to work to issue demolition orders for what he claimed the ‘illegal structures,’ located in Arab towns in northern and southern Israel and eastern Jerusalem.

“There will be no double standards regarding construction,” Netanyahu said, “there will be equal enforcement of the law in Israel for both Jews and are Arabs.”

Israeli occupation considers Palestinians (Arab residents of Israeli) living in illegal homes if these homes belonged to relatives who fled the country during the Nakba in 1948.

A lot of Palestinians fled the Israeli savage massacres before, during and after the 1948 Israeli occupation of Palestine and later on they or their descendants returned back to find the state of Israeli had confiscated them.

Thus, they are considered by the Israeli occupation authorities living in illegally in state land or state property.
