Israeli Jewish settler ran over and killed on Monday a Palestinian farmer who was returning home from his farm late at night.
The Palestinian farmer was riding his horse when the Israeli Jewish settler hit him with his car near the illegal Israeli Jewish settlement of Kiryat Netafim.
At first, it was believed that no one was there and Israeli paramedics arrived in the scene at first and claimed that it was an accidental car accident, announcing the two people, the Israeli Jewish settler and the Palestinian farmer dead.
Family and relatives of the Palestinians accepted the Israeli narrative about the incident, believing the death was accidental.
One day later on, a man in his 40s, who preferred to remain unknown, told the family of the Palestinian farmer that he saw the incident and reiterated that the Israeli Jewish settler had intentionally run over and killed the Palestinian man.
“At first, the car, which war driven by the Israeli Jewish settler, was surprised with the Palestinian farmer riding his horse,” the eyewitness said. “He could avoid him, but the Palestinian farmer shouted at him, then he approached him and hit him very harshly.”
Why he did not offer any help for the two men, whom he said, did not die immediately, the man said: “I was afraid when the Israelis arrive in the scene, they would assault and arrest me.”
In September, an Israeli Jewish settler ran over an 87-old Palestinian farmer near the West Bank city of Nablus. Initially, he suffered serious injuries. One day later on, he passed away.
Such incidents repeatedly happen; innocent Palestinian victims die and Israeli Jewish settlers, who are the murderers, go unpunished.
