Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan faced Zionist propaganda against Palestinians, stressing “Israel has nuclear weapons, Palestinians not.”
In an interview with the Israeli TV Channel Two, Erdogan told the broadcaster that she “cannot put him in the corner” after she had showered him with illogical questions loaded with Zionist propaganda.
When the broadcaster asked him whether he is able to guarantee that Hamas would not misuse lifting the blockade and import weapons, he said he said: “Israel which makes and imports lethal weapons,” noting that Hamas does not have “nuclear and conventional weapons that Israel has.”
The Israeli broadcaster asked him whether he was conscious of what she called “shock” caused among Jews when he described killing and wounding thousands of Palestinians by the Israeli occupation in 2014 “more barbaric than what Hitler did to Jews,” he said: “I am very well aware.
“But is the Jewish community aware of what is done in Gaza? Thousands of people bombed in Gaza and Palestine.”
He also said: “I do not agree with what Hitler did and I also do not agree with what Israel did in Gaza. Therefore, there is no place for comparison in order to say what is more barbaric.”
When the interviewer asked him about the ‘remains’ of the two Israeli soldiers Hamas said it captured them during the massive Israeli offensive on Gaza in 2014, Erdogan said: “Israel imprison thousands of Palestinians.” However, he said he is ready to mediate a swap between Hamas and Israel.
About the Israeli crackdown on Palestinian democratic process as it did not accept Hamas victory in the general Palestinian elections in 2006, he stressed that Hamas is not a terrorist group and it was freely elected by the Palestinians.
Erdogan said that Hamas came from the Palestinian refugee camps and it must be part of any future deal with the Palestinians.
