Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Wednesday morning at Palestinian citizen in West Bank, causing him serious injuries.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a Palestinian youth at Huwwara military checkpoint, south of West Bank city of Nablus.
The Palestinian youth was in his way to pass through the checkpoint when the Israeli occupation forces opened live fire at him.
Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) paramedics said that the Israeli occupation forces did not allow them to approach the Palestinian youth while he was bleeding.
“He remained bleeding before our eyes for about half an hour before the Israeli paramedics arrived and evacuated him,” a PRC nurse said.
The PRC nurse also said that the Palestinian youth, who is from the West Bank city of Tulkarm, is in a very serious condition as he was shot in the pelvis and the hand, noting he lost a massive amount of blood.
To justify their shooting, the Israeli occupation forces claimed that the Palestinian youth attempted to stab an Israeli soldier with a screwdriver, but the bulletproof vest of the soldier protected him.
Last Thrusday, the Israeli occupation forces murdered a Palestinian at the same place, claiming he attempted to stab Israeli soldiers, however, they also reported no casualties among them.
