Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces shot and killed on Monday morning Palestinian lady near the West Bank city of Qalqilia.
Palestinian sources identified the lady as Rasha Mohamed Ewissi, 23.
According to the Israeli media, the Israeli military spokesperson claimed that the lady attempted to stab Israeli soldiers at Alyahu Military Checkpoint.
He said that the Israeli soldiers asked the lady to stop moving towards them, but she refused and took off a knife from her pockets. So that, they shot her.
However, Palestinian witnesses said that the lady was shot while she was clearly far from the soldiers. They also denied that the lady had a knife.
Death of this lady marks the 77th Palestinian to be killed since the beginning of October, the majority of whom were shot dead by Israeli forces in claimed knife attacks.
