Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli occupation police assaulted on Wednesday morning two guards at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Eyewitnesses said that the two guards attempted to undermine the arrest of a Palestinian woman by the Israeli police, but the police assaulted and arrested them.
According to the witnesses, the two men, Hamza al-Nibali and Hussam Mirmish, suffered bruises in the heads, shoulders and necks following the assault.
Director of Awaqaf Department Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib and Director of Al-Aqsa Comund Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani immediately arrived at the scene to protest the assault.
