Days of Palestine, West Bank –A number of extremist Israeli Jewish settlers assaulted Palestinian farmers in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil.

Witnesses said that the Israeli settlers left the illegal Jewish settlement of Beit Ein in Al-Khalil in the south of the occupied West Bank.
The settlers approached Palestinian farms in Wad Abul-Risha village, started to damager their plants and when the farmers working in their farms attempted to stop them, the assaulted them using their batons and axes.
Activist Mohamed Awad, spokesperson of the Popular Committee Against the Israeli Apartheid Wall and Jewish Settlements, said that the extremist settlers at first threw rocks at Mohammad al-Sulaibi and his two sons.
Awad said that four Jewish settlers who damaged parts of the Palestinian farms and assaulted the Palestinian farmer and his sons.
“They were wearing masks,” he said, “but for sure, they are settlers because it was clear that the came out from the settlement and returned back to it.”
The Palestinian farmers were evacuated to hospital, but Palestinian medical sources said that they are suffering light wounds.
