Days of Palestine –US Republican Congressman Darrell Issa of California told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday that all Americans support killing Gaza civilians.
Before an official meeting, Netanyahu told Issa, who visits the Israeli occupation now: “I want to welcome you and I want to thank the strong American support from the President, through the Secretary of State, through both houses of Congress and the Senate, everybody, the American people.”
Of course, the Israeli occupation has been waging a massive war against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip for 46 days now. It killed 2,078 and wounded 10,270. According to a UN and other international surveys, more than 80 percent of the casualties are civilians, including more than 600 children.
Issa replied: “I think it is a point of great discovery that is important that the United States coordinate with its closest ally anywhere and particularly one that knows this area and one that has developed an amazing ability to work with difficult partners.”
He continued: “You [Netanyahu] know you have the support of Congress and the entire American people.”
Between the lines, there were lots of lies, including comparing Palestinian fighters, who fight an occupying power and killed during 46 days only three civilians, with ISIS.
