Our sources in the occupied West Bank said that the Israeli occupation invaded the city of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, and broke into the MP’s house.

MP family members said that the Israeli occupation forces “savagely” attacked their house and inspected everything and caused much damage in furniture and properties.

According to the sources, clashes between Palestinian youths and the Israeli occupation forces erupted in wake of the MP arrest.

The Palestinians hurled stones at the forces, which responded with tear gas canisters and live, rubber and sound bullets. No casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces broke into Arra neighbourhood in Jenin. They arrested several Palestinian citizens and fired rubber and live bullets at a group of Palestinian youths protested against the arrests.

Palestinian medical sources reported several casualties. No more information about the casualties’ conditions were given.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation keeps more than 6,000 Palestinians behind bars, including 36 MPs, who were elected in the first ever transparent elections in the Middle East.
