Days of Palestine, Gaza –A group of Palestinian artists have decided to change the source of death in the Gaza Strip into a source of life and happiness.
These artists take to the streets to collect the remains of the Israeli rockets and missiles, which once were launched at their houses or killed or wounded relatives and friends, in order to use them for their art.
“I have a large store for much of rockets and missiles’ remains,” Ahmed Said, artist from the middle area of the Gaza Strip, said. “I am happy when I collect as much large or complete piece as possible.” When the missile is complete it became a masterpiece of art.
“However, I do not leave small pieces,” he continued. “I put them together, ornament them and make very nice pieces. This takes much time, but at the end, I get very nice vases.”
