DaysofPal – k A security source in the Gaza Strip has revealed that a number of members of what were described as criminal gangs collaborating with Israeli authorities have surrendered themselves to local security forces in recent hours.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, the source expressed appreciation for the role played by families and national figures who contributed to resolving the cases of those who turned themselves in. The process, the source said, is being handled in accordance with approved legal and national procedures.
Gaza’s security forces had previously called on members of what they described as collaborator gangs to surrender before it was too late.
At the time, they also commended the families of some individuals who took the initiative to hand over their sons and work toward settling their security cases in a manner consistent with the law.
