Malaysia strongly condemned the Israeli occupation aggression on the city of Nablus in the West Bank last Wednesday, which resulted in the murder of 11 Palestinians and the wounding of 102.
“These heinous acts constitute crimes against humanity, and those responsible must be held accountable,” the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today.
It called on the international community to stop turning a blind eye to the violence and brutality committed by the Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians.
The ministry called on the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities stipulated in the Charter of the United Nations, stressing that the Palestinians have the right to live in peace, security, and justice.
The Foreign Ministry reiterated Malaysia’s firm position to support the Palestinian people in establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
