Khaled Rashid School in occupied Jerusalem suspended Saturday, September 24, 2022 school hours of students and teachers, due to the way Israeli occupation forces flooded the school with wastewater.
The school mentioned- in a statement – that it suspended the school hours after it was inundated with wastewater by the occupation forces during the confrontations that erupted yesterday in the town, while it did not specify a date for the return of school hours.
Confrontations broke out between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Tur, in occupied Jerusalem for the second day in a row, after the martyrdom of the Palestinian young man, Muhammad Abu Juma.
The occupation forces used tear gas and sound bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets to target Palestinian citizens and inundated wastewater towards the homes of Palestinians in the Salman al-Farsi Street area.
The street includes Khaled Rashid School, Jabal Al-Zaytoun School, a Kindergarten and other facilities.
