Jordanian Endowment said that its country does not accept the Israeli plans for the spatial and temporal division in Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Jordanian Endowment said on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
Mohammad Khalaileh, Minister of Endowments, Affairs, and Islamic Sanctities, said in a lecture that Jordan will spare no effort to defend the Islamic and Arabic identity of Jerusalem.
Khalaileh stressed that the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound includes everything inside the Mosque’s wall, and it is not limited to the Dome of the Rock or the Al-Qibli Prayer Hall.
During his lecture, he also pointed out that the Jordanian endowment continues to watch closely and follow up on the latest updates in occupied Jerusalem around the clock.
“Israeli occupation escalated attacks and incursions in Al-Aqsa Mosque over the past two years, and the new right-wing extremist government is expected to bring more tension,” he added.
Moreover, he affirmed that Palestinians are still steadfast despite the Israeli attempts to Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque and they reject all temptations.
He added that Jordan will not allow the spatial and temporal division of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which contradicts International laws and conventions.
His lecture also discussed the Israeli ongoing attacks and violations in Al-Aqsa Mosque, starting with the settlers’ arson attack in 1969. It also argued the Israeli excavations beneath Jerusalem.
