In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces detained the 61-year-old former Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Khaled Arafa after raiding his home. Israeli forces prevented Arafa from reaching his home in occupied Jerusalem and visiting his elderly mother.
In Hebron, Israeli troops abducted three young Palestinian men from the town of Beit Ummar identified as Diaa Sabarneh, Baraa Sabarneh, and Sharif Sabarneh.
In Bethlehem, Israeli military troops arrested the 26-year-old Palestinian youth Yazan Yasser Abu Muhaimid after raiding and searching his father’s house in the village of Beit Tamar.
In Salfit, Israeli forces arrested the Palestinian man Fareed Abu Diab from the town of Deir Istiya.
Israeli forces have been carrying out near-daily military raids and violations against Palestinians in recent months.
During the first quarter of 2023, Israeli military forces arrested about 1,600 Palestinians, bringing the number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails to about 5,000 according to human rights institutions concerned with the affairs of Palestinian detainees.
