The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced Tuesday, May 2, 2023, that a wide-ranging outcry prevails in Ofer Israeli prison near the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.
The Prisoners Club stated that following the outrage as a result of the prisoner Adnan’s death, the Israeli prison administration fired gas bombs at Palestinian prisoners, which resulted in a number of them suffocating from gas inhalation.
Hadashot Hamot’s website claimed in preliminary news today that confrontations occurred a short while ago in the Israeli Ofer prison, where a Palestinian prisoner poured boiling oil on one of the prison officers, as a response to the killing of Khader Adnan.
The Palestinian detainee Khader Adnan died today Tuesday, May 2, 2023, inside Israeli jails after going into an 86-day hunger strike against the unjust administrative detention he suffered in Israeli prisons.
Despite the deterioration of his health due to his long hunger strike, the occupation courts repeatedly rejected his request for his release, which led to his death.
The death of the Palestinian detainee Adnan raised the number of Palestinian detainee martyrs inside Israeli prisons to 237.
