DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued to violate the Gaza ceasefire on Thursday, carrying out a series of air and artillery attacks across several areas of the southern and central parts of the Strip.
The strikes come on the 49th day since the ceasefire agreement officially took effect.
According to local journalists, Israeli artillery targeted areas inside the so-called “yellow line” east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, accompanied by heavy machine-gun fire from Israeli helicopters operating over the region.
In the coastal area of Khan Younis, Israeli naval vessels also opened fire on Palestinian fishermen and the surrounding waters.
Meanwhile, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes launched multiple airstrikes on the northeastern outskirts of Rafah, also in the southern part of the Strip.
The ceasefire agreement in Gaza came into effect on 10 October 2025, following two years of devastating Israeli military operations that left nearly 70,000 Palestinians killed and more than 170,000 injured.
Despite the agreement, continued Israeli attacks have raised concerns about the fragility of the truce and the growing humanitarian toll on Gaza’s already battered population.
