DaysofPal- Israeli settlers intensified their attacks across the occupied West Bank on Friday, targeting Palestinian homes, vehicles, farmland, and religious sites in a wave of violence that has heightened fears of further escalation against Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank (WB).
Local communities reported that settler groups also continued seizing Palestinian land in an effort to establish new outposts.
According to residents, settler assaults included the burning of a mosque, the vandalism of homes with racist graffiti, and direct attacks on farmers.
In the early hours of Friday, settlers attacked a roadside kiosk between the towns of Deir Jarir and Silwad, east of Ramallah, smashing its contents. Local youth confronted the attackers and forced them to withdraw.
In another incident, settlers stole two cows belonging to farmer Abd al-Fattah Muhammad Zidan in the Wadi Qana area, which lies within the lands of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit.
Hours earlier, a group of settlers set fire to Al-Falah Mosque, north of the town of Biddya in western Salfit. The arson attack ignited a blaze inside parts of the mosque, damaging its property.
The Bader Human Rights Organization reported that residents rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire before it engulfed the entire building.
The organization condemned the attack as a “dangerous escalation” targeting religious sanctities and warned of the consequences of continued assaults on Palestinian properties and holy sites.
The latest wave of settler violence comes amid intensified Israeli military operations, particularly in the northern West Bank, where troops have carried out widespread raids, home invasions, and arrests.
Several Palestinian homes have reportedly been turned into makeshift military posts as part of the ongoing campaign.
