Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, set fire to a Palestinian-owned home in Turmus Ayya town, south of occupied Ramallah on Saturday night, January 29, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli settlers invade the town and burned the house of the late Palestinian, Awad Jabara.
No injuries were reported as no one was inside the house. However, mass destruction occurred to all the rooms and furniture of the house, as the fire spread throughout the whole house.
Palestinian media sources published a video documenting the moment when Israeli settlers sneaked into the home and set a fire inside.
Meanwhile, an eyewitness said that settlers set to fire a vehicle in front of the house too. He added that settlers burned several other vehicles.
In a related development, Israeli settlers cut down and vandalized several Palestinian olive trees in the lands surrounding the burnt house.
Moreover, Palestinian sources reported that groups of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles near Al-Tiba village, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
In Nablus, settlers attacked and stoned Palestinian citizens on the road leading to Madama town. Settlers also sprayed citizens with pepper gas.
Israeli settlers have escalated their attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, destroying their properties and lands.
Currently, about 600,000 Israeli settlers live in over 230 illegal settlements built since 1967 in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
