Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, seized Palestinian lands in Yanun village, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus on Friday morning, February 3, 2023.
Palestinian activist Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors the settlement activities in the northern occupied West Bank, said that Israeli settlers fenced the eastern areas of Yanun’s lands.
He pointed out that Israeli settlers take over about 85% of the Yanun lands, surrounded by five Israeli settlements and outposts.
Currently, about 600,000 Israeli settlers live in over 230 illegal settlements built since 1967 in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
They routinely carry attacks against Palestinians and their properties under full support and protection from Israeli occupation forces.
