Hundreds of Israeli settlers invaded and defiled Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in occupied Hebron on Tuesday late night, April 25, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli settlers held a concert at the Ibrahimi Mosque in occupied Hebron last night.
The sources added that settlers raised Israeli flags on the roofs and walls of the mosque, and fired firecrackers inside.
Palestinian media sources shared videos documenting the moments when settlers, accompanied by Israeli security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, performed provocative dances inside the Mosque.
Last Sunday, Israeli occupation forces raised dozens of Israeli flags at Al-Ibrahimi Mosque to mark Israel’s ‘national memorial day’.
Following the 1994 Israeli Massacre in Al-Ibrahimi, Israeli occupation authorities divided the mosque and took over more than 60% of its area.
In 2022, Israel prevented the call to prayer in Ibrahimi Mosque 613 times, according to Palestinian figures.
