Palestinian activist Bashar Al-Qaryouti reported that Israeli settlers attacked and assaulted farmers who returned to their lands after 15 years of ban.
Israeli settlers seized an 80-square-meter land in Qaryut village for 15 years, until the Israeli court recently issued a decision to evict them. However, they rejected and attacked the Palestinian owners.
Al-Qaryouti explained that the settlers tried to prevent the farmers from reaching their lands, and attacked them with stones and gunfire.
Israeli settlers regularly carry out attacks against Palestinian families, homes, and lands in the occupied West Bank.
A recent report by the UN revealed that Israeli settlers injured 1,222 Palestinians from 2012 to 2022 after carrying out 3,372 violent incidents.
