Israeli repression units raided Sunday, 6 November 2022 sections 30 and 35 for Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jail of Hadarim and thoroughly searched the prisoners and their belongings, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) stated in a statement.
PPS asserted that Israeli repression personnel broke into the Palestinian prisoners’ rooms while they were inside, searched them in detail, and damaged their things for three hours straight.
More than 4,500 Palestinian and Arab detainees are being held in prison by the Israeli occupation authorities for defying Israel’s occupation of their country.
Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails have gone on repeated hunger strikes in recent years to demand improved living circumstances, including an end to Israel’s unfair practice of raiding prisoners’ sections.
