The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the Israeli occupation practices the worst forms of discrimination and colonial racism against Palestinian people on a daily basis.
The Ministry added that Israel finds it easy to impose collective punishments on the defenseless Palestinians due to the absence of international accountability.
It stressed that the Israeli occupation forces and settlers’ attacks against Palestinians occur amid the Israeli authorities’ failure to condemn such attacks or investigate them, adding that Israel should comply with international law and its obligations as an occupying power.
“If it was the other way round, the Israeli army and political leaders’ reaction would have been different, and we would have heard a torrent of condemnations and threats against Palestinians,” the ministry maintained.
