Israeli occupation forces detained Monday, September 12 an injured Palestinian youth from the ambulance after being attacked by the Israeli colonial settlers in Massafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.
Local media reported that the Israeli occupation forces abducted an injured Palestinian young man from a Palestinian ambulance after puncturing its tires and assaulting the Palestinian Red Crescent crew in the Tiwana area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
The incident occurred when a large batch of colonial settelers of the ‘Ma’on’ illegal settlement invaded Masafer Yatta and opened fire on Palestinian shepherds, injuring the Palestinian man Hafez Al-Hareni.
Hours after the incident, dozens of Israeli occupation forces broke into Tiwana town and detained several Palestinian youths after raiding their homes.
Masafer Yatta, located in southern Hebron Hills, extends over an area of 30,000 dunams, with a population of 2,500 residents distributed over 12 villages or hamlets.
Masafer Yatta and surrounding Palestinian communities are subject to ongoing Israeli violations, including multiple assaults by illegal colonizers against Palestinian farmers and their lands.
More than 2000 Palestinian residents in Masafer Yatta are facing imminent expulsion from their homes by the Israeli occupation under the pretext of classifying it as a military training area for the Israeli forces in which the Palestinians have no right to live.
