Israeli occupation forces wounded 13 Palestinians, during their raid into Beita town, south of Nablus, on Monday evening, February 27.

The director of the Emergency Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, said that 3 Palestinian citizens sustained bruises as a result of their fall during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces who stormed the town.

He added that the occupation forces suffocated 10 other Palestinians as by toxic gas bombs the forces fired at the Palestinians during the confrontations on Subaih mountain in Beita, after the settlers renewed their storming of the area.

Jibril indicated that the Israeli settlers have renewed their attacks on Palestinian citizens in the town of Hawara.

Yesterday, Israeli settlers stormed Hawara town, under the protection of the occupation forces, and threw stones at Palestinian homes, set fire to garbage containers and Palestinian vehicles, and tried to burn olive trees. They also set fire to a Palestinian house with its residents inside.

The settlers’ attack on the town resulted in the kill of a Palestinian and the injury of 390 others, as the occupation forces participated in the attack on the Palestinian citizens instead of controlling the security situation in the area.
