Israeli occupation forces demolished Monday, 28 November 2022 a Palestinian-owned house under construction in the town of Kafr al-Dik, West of Salfit.
Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished a 180 square meters house owned by the Palestinian man Nabil Naji in the western part of the Kafr al-Dik town, reported Muhammad Naji, head of the Kafr al-Dik municipality.
Israeli occupation claimed that the Palestinian property was built without a permit.
Israeli occupation is trying in various ways to forcibly displace Palestinians from their own lands and demolish their homes in favor of settlement expansion using pretexts most notably building without a permit.
During the first five months of 2022, Israeli occupation demolished 300 Palestinian-owned structures in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, according to the United Nations Organization for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OCHA).
The organization explained that most of the demolitions were carried out under the pretext of lacking a building permit, noting that “it is almost impossible for Palestinians to obtain such or that permit.”
