Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished on Monday, 22 May 2023 a Palestinian-owned house in the Ma’in community of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation forces accompanied by military bulldozers demolished an 80-square-meter house belonging to Palestinian man Diab Ahmed Hamamdeh.
Sources added that Israeli bulldozers demolished an agricultural tent belonging to Palestinian man Ayed Hamamdeh for the fifth time.
Moreover, Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished a 200-square-meter house under construction owned by Palestinian man Nasser Ramadan al-Atmin in the Zwaydin area in the desert east of Yatta.
Masafer Yatta and surrounding Palestinian communities are subject to ongoing Israeli violations, including multiple assaults by illegal colonizers against Palestinian farmers and their lands.
Masafer Yatta, located in southern Hebron Hills, extends over an area of 30,000 dunams, with a population of 2,500 residents distributed over 12 villages or hamlets.
More than 2000 Palestinian residents in Masafer Yatta are facing imminent expulsion from their homes by the Israeli occupation under the pretext of classifying it as a military training area for the Israeli forces in which the Palestinians have no right to live.
