Israeli occupation forces raided on Sunday, June 11, 2023, an archaeological site in the town of Sebastia, located northwest of Nablus.
Mohammed Azem, the mayor of Sebastia, stated that Israeli occupation forces had stormed the archaeological site and conducted surveying activities in the surrounding area.
The occupation government recently allocated 32 million shekels to Judaize the archaeological site in Sebastia.
Sebastia holds significant historical and archaeological value, boasting numerous ancient ruins and structures dating back to different periods, including Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic eras.
The site attracts local and international tourists, who admire its rich heritage and cultural significance.
