GAZA – Israeli forces continued their attacks across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing one Palestinian and wounding several others in a series of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and live-fire attacks targeting civilian areas across the besieged enclave.
Ahmed Hussein Kafina, 38, from the Nuseirat refugee camp, was killed after an Israeli strike targeted central Gaza, while several other Palestinians were wounded in separate attacks throughout the Strip.
According to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, nine Palestinians were injured after Israeli forces struck a gathering of civilians inside the refugee camp.
Israeli drone strikes residential building in Gaza City
In Gaza City, several Palestinians were injured when an Israeli drone bombed a residential apartment on Al-Wehda Street.
The wounded were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex for treatment.
Later, Israeli warplanes carried out another strike targeting the rooftop of a residential building on the same street. Medical sources confirmed injuries, while no fatalities had been reported immediately following the attack.
Witnesses described the explosion as extremely powerful, prompting ambulances from the Palestine Red Crescent Society’s field hospital near Al-Saraya Junction to rush to the scene.
Continued bombardment across the enclave
Medical sources also reported that two Palestinians were wounded after Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. The injured were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said it evacuated another injured Palestinian after Israeli forces targeted Al-Mazraa School in Deir al-Balah.
In southern Gaza, Israeli tanks fired toward tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah, while heavy artillery shelling struck eastern neighborhoods of Khan Younis.
Israeli artillery also bombarded eastern Gaza City, including the Zeitoun neighborhood, as attacks continued across multiple areas of the Strip.
Death toll rises
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said hospitals across Gaza received four Palestinians killed and 14 wounded over the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry, Israeli attacks since the ceasefire agreement took effect in October 2025 have killed 1,207 Palestinians and wounded 3,914 others, while civil defense and rescue teams have recovered the bodies of 803 Palestinians from areas previously inaccessible because of Israeli military operations.
The ministry said the overall death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has climbed to 73,333 Palestinians killed, while 174,023 others have been wounded.
Health officials stressed that the figures remain incomplete, as many victims are still trapped beneath the rubble or lying in streets and destroyed neighborhoods that ambulance and civil defense crews remain unable to reach because of ongoing Israeli attacks.
Ceasefire violations continue
Local correspondents said Tuesday’s attacks are part of what Palestinian officials describe as Israel’s continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.
According to Palestinian estimates, Israeli forces have committed more than 3,000 ceasefire violations since the truce came into effect, resulting in the killing of more than 1,200 Palestinians.
Correspondents also reported that Israel continues expanding the so-called “Yellow Line” military zone along the eastern, northern, and southern edges of Gaza, increasing the territory under Israeli military control from roughly 53 percent of the Strip to an estimated 65–70 percent.
Palestinian officials warn that the expansion has further reduced the already limited areas where civilians can seek refuge, while Israeli airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire continue to target Palestinians across the north, center, and south of the enclave.
Residents throughout Gaza reported hearing continuous explosions as Israeli bombardment and demolition operations persisted, reinforcing fears that nowhere in the Strip remains safe despite the ceasefire agreement.
