Israeli colonizers stormed Thursday morning, July 6, 2023, the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque under high protection by Israeli occupation forces IOF.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem confirmed that extremist settlers led by a former Israeli minister, Moshe Feiglin, performed provocative Talmudic rituals, and rabbis gave them explanations about the alleged temple.
Israeli forces reportedly secured the road from the Chain Gate to the Moroccan Gate to facilitate the extremist settlers’ storming into the mosque.
As well, Israeli special forces have been deployed in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and at its gates to secure the extremists’ incursions.
Semi-daily, Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa and provocatively perform Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, aiming to impose a temporal and spatial division in the holy site, which the Muslim Palestinians reject and decry.
Earlier in June, media sources revealed a new Israeli proposed plan aiming at dividing Al-Aqsa Mosque between Jews and Muslims.
In June 2023, around 4000 Israeli settlers stormed the mosque and performed Talmudic provocative rituals in its squares, according to Palestinian figures.
