According to the “Al-Qastal” news network based in Jerusalem, approximately 4,000 colonial Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in June 2023.
The network stated in a statement that the settlers performed Talmudic rituals during their incursions.
Some even held their wedding ceremonies in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It pointed out that the Israeli occupation issued orders to deport 26 Jerusalemites from Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, including prominent figures and symbols, such as the Deputy Director of Islamic Waqf, Najeh Bakirat, and the Jerusalemite activist Hanadi Halawani.
Al-Qastal documented several Israeli violations in Jerusalem during the past month, including killing the Jerusalemite Ismail al-Ajlouni by occupation bullets.
It mentioned that the occupation forces arrested around 134 Palestinians, including 31 minors and 5 women, in Jerusalem in June 2023.
The occupation court issued 18 actual imprisonment sentences against Jerusalemite prisoners and 13 administrative detention orders against others, as well as more than 28 house arrest orders, including 14 minors.
Al-Qastal documented over 19 demolition cases in June, targeting the properties and assets of Jerusalemites, including houses, buildings, and agricultural lands.
The occupation bulldozers also demolished a sheep pen and uprooted more than 50 olive trees and 15 beehives belonging to the Jerusalemite family of Jamal Omar Abu Tayr in the town of Um Tuba, on the pretext of not having ownership documents.
Israeli settlers invade Al-Aqsa mosque on a daily basis except for Fridays and Saturdays.
Settler’s incursions aims at dividing Al-Aqsa mosque spatially and temporally.
