Israel Occupation Authorities Banish Handi Al-Halwani from Al-Aqsa for New 6 Months

M.Y | DOP -

Israeli occupation authorities have imposed on Sunday a ban on entering Al-Aqsa Mosque compund upon the Palestinian activist Hanadi Al-Halawani for 6 months.

This came after the occupation authorities upheld another ban last week, preventing Al-Halawani from entering Al-Aqsa for a week. On June 5, 2022, the Israeli occupation forces had summoned Hanadi Al-Halawani for interrogation and notified her of the decision to banish her for one week.

Al-Halawani, a teacher at Al-Aqsa Mosque schools, is an activist who has been going to Al-Aqsa Mosque to run religious sessions and to defend Al-Aqsa from the settlers’ attack.

Al-Halawani is one of dozens of Palestinian women who have been repeatedly assaulted and prevented by the Israeli occupation authorities from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
