DaysofPal- The Israeli genocidal war in the Gaza Strip has claimed the lives of 2,106 Palestinians in September alone, according to hospital sources across the territory.
The data shows that the majority of the victims were in the northern Gaza Strip, where 1,382 people were killed.
Another 347 were killed in central Gaza, while 377 lost their lives in the south, where thousands more were injured in relentless Israeli air and artillery strikes throughout the month.
On Wednesday morning, at least 22 Palestinians were reported killed since dawn, including 19 in Gaza City, where Israeli forces have intensified efforts to seize control and force mass displacement of residents.
For weeks, Israeli occupation forces have escalated bombardments on Gaza City, targeting residential buildings in what Palestinians describe as a campaign of forced depopulation.
Witnesses report entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble as families flee under heavy fire.
Since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, the death toll has reached 66,097 Palestinians, with 168,536 wounded, according to local health authorities. The majority of the victims are women and children.
The Israeli genocide has also triggered a devastating famine, killing 453 people, including 150 children.
The ongoing Israeli genocide, now in its 726th day, continues to draw international condemnation, with rights groups warning of crimes against humanity as the Israeli bombardment and siege push Gaza deeper into one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history.
