DaysofPal— More than 28 civilians have been killed in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 72 hours as Israeli genocide escalates, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza.
In a statement carried by local media, the office said Israeli occupation forces conducted multiple attacks targeting civilian areas, including markets, residential buildings, and public gatherings.
It characterized the strikes as evidence of intensifying Israeli genocide, despite the passage of 280 days since a declared ceasefire.
The statement further noted that Israeli forces have committed over 3,750 violations of the ceasefire agreement, urging international mediators and guarantors to take immediate action and publicly condemn the continued hostilities.
In a separate incident, at least eight people were killed on Friday evening when a drone strike hit a group of civilians gathered near the Ahmed Yassin Mosque in the Nuseirat refugee camp during a funeral procession, according to local reports.
Three more were killed on Saturday in the continued Israeli violations against civilians in Gaza.
Data released by the Gaza Ministry of Health indicated that, since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, at least 1,130 people have been killed and over 3,643 injured.
The ministry added that hundreds remain missing or have been recovered from beneath rubble.
Since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023, the cumulative death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,253, with 173,751 people reported injured, according to the same source.
