Israel attacked a house in Jabalia, killing deputy director of the Palestinian Civil Defence, early Sunday.

Abu Al-Abd Morsi, the deputy director of the Palestinian Civil Defence in the North Gaza governorate, was killed last night along with members of his family in a shelling that targeted Al-Alami area of the Jabalia refugee camp.

Palestinians carried out search and rescue efforts after an Israeli missile attacked the Morsi family home in the Jabalia refugee camp on Sunday.

Children and a baby injured in the attack were taken to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya.

Palestinain Civil Defence mourned the killing of Morsi and condemned Israel’s deliberate target of service sector, which killed over 83 Palestinian civil defense personnel since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, according to the Gaza Civil Defense.

Morsi had been working in the field since 1995 and was killed on duty, according to the civil defence.

At least 31 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza in the last 24 hours, according to the ministry of health.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes once again attacked a school where families were sheltering.

Israeli army, in addition, targeted a tent in an attack on Jabalia that killed at least eight people on Friday night.

“The two missiles targeted a tent, not even a concrete building or a tunnel,” said Ahmed Abd Rabbo as he recalled what happened. “We came down. We were all scared and we saw among the people killed a woman who was preparing milk for her child. Isn’t the siege, hunger and destruction we’ve experienced enough.”

Since the start of this war, Israel has killed more than 40,939 and wounded 94,616 others.
