On the first day of Eid Al-Fitr 2024, Israeli occupation forces have just murdered three sons of the Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Hanyyia in Al-Shati’ Refugee Camp west of Gaza.
The government media office confirmed that the three sons Mohammed, Hazem, and Ameer were riding in a civilian car in the Al-Shati camp, where they reside, when Israeli aircraft attacked their vehicles a while ago, claiming the lives of the three siblings in the first day of Eid Al-Fitr which marks 186 days of war.
Eyewitnesses near the incident also revealed that the Israeli target had murdered other three grandsons of Hanyyia, Amal, Razan, and Khaled, who were accompanying their fathers.
Only one 8-year-old child survived the attack and was immediately moved to the Baptist hospital in central Gaza.
Last November, Hanyyia’s elder grandson Jamal Mohammed Hanyyia was massacred in airstrikes that killed other 30 relatives persons.
“I thank God for the honor bestowed upon us. He is mistaken whoever thinks the murder of three sons of mine will change Hamas’s stance on war. My sons’ blood is not more precious than that of my people since all martyrs are my sons,” Ismail Hanyyia commented on the massacre.
“I have lost 60 persons of my family since the start of the current war and this won’t shake our resilience to continue fighting the Israeli occupation until liberating the entire Palestine,” Hanyyia added.
Hanyyia stressed that the assassination of his sons is not new for a barbaric enemy that killed more than 30,000 of Palestinians, confirming that this would never push the leaders into concessions.
“Our sacrifices are part of our Gaza people’s sacrifices and steadfastness everywhere,” Hanyyia concluded.
Since October 7, Israel’s unprecedented onslaught on the Gaza enclave has claimed the lives of 33490 Palestinians and injured other 76049.
