Israeli Settler Terror Rampage Reported Across West Bank Following Friday Tel Village Crime

DayofPal–A pattern of escalating settler attacks were reported  across the occupied West Bank after armed settlers committed a crime in nearby Tel village, where they killed four Palestinians from Ramdan family.

Following the bloody assault, extremist settler groups continue incitement campaigns on social media, openly calling for attacks on Palestinian villages and towns while the Israeli government turns a blind eye, or actively enables, this campaign of ethnic cleansing and land theft.

According to local sources and eyewitness accounts, dozens of armed settlers attacked multiple areas, particularly in the northern and central West Bank. In Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, settlers seized a house under construction.

In Awarta village near Nablus, settlers set fire to homes, a quarry, and vehicles. A baby girl reportedly survived a house fire after settlers torched the family home while she was sleeping inside.

Settlers also targeted Ein Yabrud near Ramallah, setting fire to agricultural lands, and destroyed water pipelines serving villages in the area.

Additional attacks included shooting at Palestinian vehicles in Abu Njeim near Bethlehem and assaulting vehicles and an ambulance near the Za’tara military checkpoint.

In yet another brazen act of settler terrorism, hundreds of armed Israeli settlers invaded the Palestinian village of Sarra, southwest of Nablus, on Friday, torching homes, destroying vehicles, and terrorizing families in a premeditated assault.

Residents described scenes of chaos and fear as settlers hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at houses, setting multiple properties ablaze.

At least two homes were heavily damaged by fire, while several Palestinians suffered from smoke inhalation. Families were forced to flee for their lives, gathering children and escaping as flames engulfed their belongings.

“The settlers were in the hundreds and they violently attacked the house, pelting it with stones and Molotov cocktails. The yard and the vehicle caught fire,” said Mohammed Turabi, a resident whose family home was targeted.

Israeli soldiers were present nearby but did nothing to stop the rampage, once again proving the occupation forces’ complicity in settler violence against defenseless Palestinians.

Ahmad Sarrawi, a member of the local municipality, condemned the attack as organized and premeditated.

Settlers reportedly built dirt roads in advance to facilitate their assault on homes on the outskirts of the village, coming from the illegal Havat Gilad outpost.

“Residents eventually confronted the settlers, preventing further destruction and forcing them to leave,” Sarrawi said, highlighting the courage of villagers defending their homes against heavily supported extremists.

An elderly resident, Umm Wahid, recounted the terror: “We saw them attacking in such numbers, we decided to leave the house to protect the children. As soon as we left, they set the house on fire.” She described how her grandchild fainted from smoke inhalation and how families now live in constant fear, moving between homes at night to avoid attacks.

Palestinian officials, including the Presidency and the Commission Against the Wall and Settlements, denounced the attacks as part of a systematic policy to intimidate residents and force them off their ancestral lands.

They demanded international intervention to end Israel’s culture of impunity that protects settler terrorists.

Large parts of Sarra fall under Area C, where Israeli authorities exercise full control, severely restricting Palestinian movement and development while allowing illegal settlements to expand.

Villagers face blocked roads, uprooted olive trees, and daily harassment as part of the broader occupation apparatus.
