Israel Continues Relentless Attacks on Gaza Despite Ceasefire

DaysofPal – Gaza officials report that Israel has systematically violated the so-called ceasefire, carrying out relentless attacks that have killed hundreds of Palestinians in the month since the agreement was announced.

According to the Government Media Office, Israeli forces breached the ceasefire at least 282 times between 10 October and 10 November, using airstrikes, artillery fire, and direct shootings across the Strip.

Civilians were targeted on multiple occasions: the office recorded 88 instances of direct fire on civilians, 12 incursions into neighborhoods beyond the “yellow line,” 124 bombings across Gaza, and 52 instances of residential property destruction. In the same period, 23 Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces.

Despite the declared pause in the genocide, Israel has continued to block essential humanitarian aid while systematically destroying homes and critical infrastructure, deepening an already catastrophic situation for Gaza’s civilians.

Those attempting to deliver or receive aid have been directly targeted, further worsening starvation and suffering. Though Israel promised up to 600 aid trucks daily, actual deliveries have fallen far short, and announcements to further restrict or halt aid have compounded the crisis.

The human toll continues to mount. Gaza’s Ministry of Health reports over 69,000 Palestinians killed and tens of thousands more injured, with many bodies still trapped under debris. These figures starkly contradict any claims of peace and expose the ceasefire as a cover for ongoing atrocities.

Following the launch of Trump’s high-profile Gaza “peace plan,” Israel has escalated military operations under the guise of restoring order while orchestrating new massacres. Al Jazeera has documented several of these attacks, including the deadliest day since the ceasefire, when 45 Palestinians were killed in a series of coordinated strikes shortly after the agreement was announced.

The so-called peace process has coincided with the annexation and permanent occupation of vast areas of Gaza, while killings and displacement continue openly. With mass murders, forced relocation, and starvation occurring under its auspices, it became evident that the Trump-backed plan had served as a tool for Israel to solidify control.

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Eyal Zamir has openly declared the army’s intention to extend control over additional areas of Gaza, regardless of the ceasefire’s red or yellow lines.

“Our troops continue operating along the Yellow Line to clear the area and eliminate terrorist strongholds,” Zamir stated, adding that the military “must be prepared to take control” beyond any established perimeter.
