Israeli occupation forces IOF on Friday morning, July 15, impeded the arrival of hundreds of Palestinian worshipers heading from the West Bank to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces intensified their measures and erected a number of barriers to prevent worshipers from accessing Al-Aqsa.
Palestinians in the West Bank are denied access to Jerusalem for prayers without obtaining permits from the Israeli occupation authorities. However, permits are hardly granted to a small number of West Bank Palestinians.
Meanwhile, settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces break into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis except on Fridays and Saturdays.
