DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem on Monday morning, sparking confrontations and leaving behind extensive damage.
In Hebron, the IOF stormed multiple neighborhoods, including Jabal al-Rahma and Wadi al-Hariya, raiding homes and arresting residents.
Among those detained was Sheikh Mustafa Shawar, head of the Association of Palestinian Scholars, according to local sources.
In Ramallah, the IOF raided the village of Al-Mughayir northeast of the city, setting fire to a home after storming it, which resulted in significant property damage.
Nablus also witnessed simultaneous incursions into several refugee camps and villages, including Balata, Old and New Askar, and the town of Qusra to the south.
Security sources reported that Israeli forces arrested former prisoner Mohammed Tayseer Hashash from Balata camp after raiding and searching his home.
The eastern part of Nablus also came under heavy raids, triggering violent clashes.
Further north, IOF stormed Tubas district, raiding the town of Tammun, and clashed with residents in the town of Ya’bad south of Jenin, where two Palestinians were injured.
In Bethlehem, the IOF entered the village of Al-Asakra east of the city, while in Tulkarem, they conducted raids on the towns of Qaffin and Anabta.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters at civilians and schoolchildren near Qalandiya refugee camp along Airport Street, causing several cases of suffocation.
The Israeli raids are part of a continuing escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem, where Israeli forces have intensified military operations targeting residents, religious figures, and educational institutions in what observers describe as a systematic effort to tighten control over Palestinian communities.
