Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) kidnapped Sunday, February 5, 2023 seven Palestinian citizens from several areas in the occupied West-Bank.
In Jenin, occupation forces kidnapped the released prisoner, Khader Adnan, from the town of Arraba, Abdel-Latif Saber Khalifa, from the village of Ojja, and Khaled Walid Gawadreh, from the village of Bir Al-Basha.
IOF also kidnapped the two Palestinian young men, Amin Ali Thawabteh (22), and Khaled Muhammad Taqatqa, from the town of Beit Fajjar in the south of Bethlehem.
Meanwhile in Hebron, IOF detained Issam Youssef Mawas (23), from the town of Bani Naim, to the northeast of Hebron. IOF also detained the young Palestinian man, Ibrahim Al-Zubaidi, from Al-Jalazoun camp, to the north of Ramallah.
It’s noteworthy that these provocative acts in the West-Bank come amid the escalating atmosphere, especially after the formation of the new Israeli Government.
The new Israeli Government follow a systematic daily violations against Palestinian citizens, deliberate detentions, house demolitions and mandatory deportation policy in a multiplied approach in a way to suffocate and complicate Palestinian lives.
Note that 4,500 Palestinians are currently detained inside Israeli occupation prisons, including 400 who have severe and chronic illnesses, 31 women, and 500 administrative detainees.
In the absence of strong pressure to stop the systemic inhumane abuses, the racist and fascist policies of the Prison Service Administration have a negative impact on Palestinian detainees.
