IOF Kills 30 Aid Seekers in Central Gaza

DaysofPal – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed at least 30 Palestinian civilians and injured more than 70 others early Wednesday as they waited for humanitarian aid near the Netzarim corridor in central Gaza.

Local sources report that several individuals remain missing following the attack. The dead and wounded were transferred to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah and Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat.

This massacre follows a similarly deadly attack on Tuesday morning, when 51 Palestinians were killed and over 200 injured by Israeli gunfire while waiting to receive American aid at the Al-Tahliyah Roundabout in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the victims of Tuesday’s massacre included 20 individuals in critical condition, all of whom were admitted to Nasser Medical Complex. The ministry described the hospital situation as “catastrophic,” citing overcrowded emergency rooms, intensive care units, and surgical wards overwhelmed by mass casualties.

The Israeli occupation continues to carry out daily massacres across the Gaza Strip, with a clear pattern of targeting starving civilians at aid distribution sites. This occurs amid the collapse of Gaza’s healthcare system and a severe shortage of medical resources, leaving wounded Palestinians with little hope for treatment or survival.

Medical teams are operating under extreme conditions with dwindling supplies of essential medicines and life-saving equipment. The Ministry of Health has issued repeated urgent appeals for international assistance and the immediate delivery of medical aid.

Since May 27, Palestinians have repeatedly come under fire at aid distribution zones set up under a controversial American-Israeli initiative. The project has been condemned by the United Nations and multiple human rights organizations, which accuse the two governments of militarizing humanitarian relief and using food as a weapon to displace and humiliate civilians.

On Monday, the Ministry of Health reported that the total number of Palestinians killed at aid distribution points—referred to locally as “breadline martyrs”—had risen to 338, with over 2,831 injuries recorded since May 27.

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor previously stated that the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”—a key player in the American-Israeli aid operation—is complicit in these killings. The organization has called for the prosecution of the foundation and the individuals responsible, warning that the foundation has effectively become a partner in Israel’s campaign of starvation and collective punishment in Gaza.
