Israeli occupation forces (IOF) injured dozens of Palestinians with poisonous gas today, Saturday, January 28, 2023, during confrontations near the town of Majdal Bani Fadel, south of Nablus.
Local sources reported that violent confrontations broke out between Palestinian citizens, the occupation forces, and Israeli settlers, in the town of Majdal Bani Fadel, after the Palestinians confronted settlers who set up tents and “caravans” on their own lands.
They added that the occupation forces targeted the Palestinians with bullets and gas bombs. As a result, one of them was directly injured by a gas bomb, and dozens suffocated. IOF
In a related context, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Eizariya town, east of occupied Jerusalem. As a result, confrontations erupted, during which the soldiers opened fire at the civilians, wounding a Palestinian young man.
It is worth noting that there is an increase in Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially with the increasing calls of extremist ministers in the new Israeli government to kill the Palestinians and practice their racist policies against them.
The Minister of National Security in the Israeli occupation government, Ben Gvir, said on Saturday evening that he wants to pass the death penalty law against the Palestinians and to license more weapons to Israeli settlers. Ben Gvir would also like to pass the law to demolish the homes of the Palestinian resistance operations without delay.
